An Nepenthes negros kabale sa informal na grupo nin N. alata na yaon an N. alata, N. cecilieae, N. copelandii, N. cornuta, N. extincta, N. graciliflora, N. hamiguitanensis, N. kitanglad, N. kurata, N. leyte, N. mindanaoensis, N. negros, N. ramos, N. saranganiensis, asin N. ultra.[7][1][6][8]
