Nakua niya an saiyang enot na edukasyon sa Punakha High School asin naggradwar sa Sherubtse College.[1] Dangan siya nagtapos sa Mymensingh Medical College na ini yaon sakop kan University of Dhaka, Bangladesh asin saiyang naresibi an degree nin MBBS kan 2001.[1][12] Saiyang tinapos an adal niya sa post-graduation sa surgery sa Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University sa Dhaka, Bangladesh.[2][12] Kan 2007, siya nag'adal nin Urology sa Medical College of Wisconsin, sa USA, sa irarom nin fellowship ginawad saiya kan World Health Organisation. Pagbalik niya sa Bhutan, siya sana an nagpapraktis`na may toltol na adal bilang urologist sa Bhutan. Kan 2010, nakua niya an fellowship sa Endourology sa Singapore General Hospital, Singapur, asin sa Okayama University, sa Hapon.[13] Nakakua pa siya nin Master of Business Administration na degree sa University of Canberra, Australya kan 2014.[13]
