Last evening I attended a night of jazz and swing at the local Brunswick High School. When taking a closer look I noticed the music chart reflected in the bell of the trombone. Two different jazz ensembles each played a short program of mostly jazz standards. They are both very very good. This was the first public performance for each for this school year. The light was not great and my zoom lens not very fast. But it was lots of fun to try to get some good shots. This is from the second ensemble and is two trombonists from a larger section. The horn in front is a bass or tenor trombone I think. I also converted to BW; not sure which I like more. |
